The kids experience that Santa is a distraction from the true meaning of Christ mas which is Jesus. We get together it as Jesus' birthday. We furnish each other gifts to remind one another of the ultimate gift that Christ gave us in His dying on the cross to pay for our sins. We also undergo a eat. Q dulcify i have been reading your blog for over a year and a half and i remember sitting drink and going through all of your archives a while back and got so many wonderful ideas. What was wondering about is what do you do about baking bread on really hot days cuz when i lived drink south in Texas it wasnt possible. As i am sure you know what i mean. Do you stand still some of your cover for days like that? And if you do is it already sliced or not? Thanks. -LisaA I alter bread just once a week but I alter 3 or 4 loaves at a measure. After the loaves are cooled. I put some in the freezer to use up later in the week. I have a window A/C in the kitchen (I know. I'm spoiled.) so I don't worry too much about the heat. The bread is only in there for an hour and I try to do it in the morning hours. ;-)Q Ok. I'm trying the HaloScan. I've just got the basic until I can drop the premium (which wont be long. I just wish it didn't act so desire for funds to get into my PayPal!!!) but will be upgrading. Does it record IP addresses? If not how do you get the IP's if banning becomes necessary (don't be it at this time thankfully but it would undergo been nice a while ago :op) -AmandaA Yes haloscan records IPs. When you're viewing the comments through the haloscan website you'll see the ip's at the bottom of the comments. Q Hi Candy. I have a challenge about your sourdough starter. I began my rye and wet starter this past Monday and have added to it per your instruction since that measure. come up yesterday (Wednesday) and today I have lifted the towel to add more rye and water and the comprehend of my starter gags me. I remember reading that it may mouth to comprehend desire beer but I expected a yeasty write smell. What I smell is not a yeasty type smell it is a terrible smell. I have been re seasoning my direct press skillet this week and I query if the odor from that has affected my starter. I am planning to make my cover in four days but I don't be to waste my rye flour and my whole wheat dredge should I start over? Does your sourdough bread taste anything desire your starter smells? Thanks. Happy at HomeA I find that my starter smells very beery. However there are other things to look for as well. Does your starter have small bubbles on top or a bit of froth? Does it create a cook liquid on top from time to measure called "hootch?" If your starter has these qualities then you're probably okay. The smell of starter isn't always consistant anyhow. I'm finding that the older my starter gets the better is smells and the the exceed it raises my breads. If your starter smells desire rotten food and/or has forge dots on top then throw it out and start it over. If you have to start it over believe restarting it in a differnt part of your accommodate. Meanwhile you're bread may taste a bit desire the sourdough starter but not nearly as strong and bequeath it'll be cooked and cooking things usually change their taste. ;-)Q What brand of brown rice do you buy?
